U. F. G. provides increasing levels of care for people who need assistance with their daily activities but wish to remain as independent as possible, for as long as possible, to end of life hospice care. Hospice care provides what's known as comfort care - care that alleviates pain and discomfort when a patient's illness is no longer responding to treatment. We do much more than provide pain killers and sedatives. We educate patient's primary care giver as well as provide prayer, emotional support and counseling to the patient and the patient's loved ones. The goal is to add life. Some of our hospice patients have been known to live three times longer than expected and some have even recovered.
U. F. G. offers Respite Services for those care givers needing to run errands or just to take a breather. Our Clients receive three healthy meals a day with snacks. Our Skilled Nursing and Hospice unit is catered to by our CEO, herself. All Clients see our in house Physicians and Specialist. They don't have to leave our facilities.
